And here’s a rundown of our programs for the next three months:

May. The Response Marketing Pillar, led by Cyndi Greenglass, has planned an exceptional program and networking event - Sports Marketing Chicago Style -- on Thursday evening, May 21 at the new Harry Caray’s 7th Inning Stretch in Water Tower Place.

And Cyndi and her team have covered all the bases with the sports marketing panel members: The Wolves, the Cubs, the Bears – Oh my!  Moderator Andy Clark, Sports Marketing Professor at DePaul University, will lead a spirited discussion on the role of response marketing, marketing channels and techniques, analytics, and the future of sports marketing.

Andy’s  panel of sports marketing experts includes Chris Hibbs, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Chicago Bears; Mike Gordon, President of the Chicago Wolves; Alison Miller, Senior Director of Marketing for the Chicago Cubs; and Jeff Nelson, Vice President, Client Strategy for Navigate Research (specialists in measuring the impact and ROI of sponsorship deals).

June. Jeanette McMurtry of e4 marketing is one of DMA’s highest-rated speakers, and a direct marketing thought-leader.  She will join CADM on Tuesday evening and all day on Wednesday, June 23-24 at FCB Chicago in the John Hancock Building to share her knowledge about leveraging the power of psychology to Achieve Unthinkable ROI.

Tuesday evening will feature networking and our workshop preview. McMurtry will introduce you to theories that appeal to the triggers of the unconscious mind which influence purchasing behavior and loyalty. As a CADM member, you are welcome to attend this evening networking event even if you are not attending the following day’s workshop. Sign up at

July. Midwest marketers submitted a record 104 entries to the 2015 Tempo Awards. Join us at the Tempo Awards Ceremony on Thursday evening, July 16 as we celebrate the Midwest’s best campaigns in direct, digital, mobile and social marketing.
