Dear CADM Members,

I hope each of you had a wonderful holiday season and are now ready to face the New Year with renewed vigor, despite the enervating cold Chicago weather!

Your Board of Directors continues to develop CADM’s branding and messaging into 2015, and our Pillars of Excellence have evolved their programming theme to Creating Better Customer Experiences – Chicago Style. This series will feature some of Chicago’s top companies and brands, and we will explore how these brands address the rising expectations of today’s customers across a range of channels (Social, Digital, Mobile, Response Marketing & Analytics) to achieve continued success.  Most events will be held in the early evening, and will feature a presentation, along with a cocktail and appetizer reception and ample time to network.

February 19Digital Pillar Event: Delivering on the Promise of Content Marketing. Dasher Lowe and Marc Skroch have assembled a panel of experts to share the latest thinking and trends in Content Marketing, giving CADM members an exclusive opportunity to have hands-on access to leading companies that are defining the content marketing space. See page one for details.

MarchSocial Pillar Event:  Brad Schwab reports tentative plans for a panel discussion including experts on Twitter and Facebook.

April 16Mobile Marketing Morning.  The Mobile Pillar will sponsor this morning event.  Mickey Alam Khan has already lined up experts from Walgreens, Eli Lilly, and FCB, and will announce the complete program and downtown venue shortly.

May 21Response Marketing Pillar Event: Pillar Chair Cyndi Greenglass plans a case study presentation by a Chicago brand expert.

June 16Analytics Pillar Event:  Pradeep Kumar is planning this eagerly awaited event and will report soon on the details.  See www.cadm.org/events.

Josh Blacksmith, and his team, is also planning a summer program, tentatively titled CONNECT, designed to engage and connect Chicago’s multichannel response marketing community.

Our Basic Course starts on Thursday, February 26, and runs through May 14 at the University of Chicago Gleacher Center.  Registration is limited, so go to www.cadm.org/basic-course to sign up now!  Past president, Ron Jacobs, Jacobs & Clevenger, our long-time Basic Course sponsor, has again graciously committed to sponsor the 2015 spring course.  Thanks to you Ron and your J&C team!

And our exciting Tempo Awards get underway in February.  Entries will be due by March 20 - and this year you will be able to submit your entries online!  Check out the details on the CADM web site at www.cadm.org/tempo-awards.  We’ll look forward to seeing you all on Thursday, July 16 for the Awards Presentation.  Win or lose, this is a not-to-miss event – great opportunities to strut your stuff and network with your peers.

Look forward to seeing you at a CADM event soon!
